This juried "Best of Salon" Awards Competition honors the top artisan, gourmet and premium caramels. Caramels are sometimes considered one of the most traditional forms of  chocolate, and they require creativity in the areas of detail, ingredients, and taste. TasteTV and the International Chocolate Salon annually review and celebrate the year's best.

Product and brand submissions are judged by regional and national panels of food and media experts, members of who are part of the Academy of Media Tastemakers.

SUBMISSION RULES

Submissions are sent for a tasting panel of 15 judges. Registration must be complete by the deadline, and physical entries shipped to the Organizers in San Francisco by the final receipt date (address information is included in registration confirmation)

Chocolatier and Confectioner event attendance is NOT required to participate in the above Juried Awards Competition.  Chocolatiers and Confectioners do NOT need to be physically located in a region to enter an awards competition.
