We are proud to present the results of the 2022 WHITE CHOCOLATE AWARDS Competition.

The International Chocolate Salon Awards for the 2022 WHITE CHOCOLATE AWARDS are based on the combined total number of votes received by each entrant from the Judging Panel.

The Judging Panel consists of National and Regional Magazines, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts, Local Chefs and Food Gurus.

The award winners below have the honor of being able to display and use the Official Award Winner title and award logos, as well as use items (such as the Award Product Stickers, Award Winner lapel pin), as well as use Custom Award Certificates, and logo award merchandise.

  • Deysia's Chocolate Meghi was my favorite because of its complexity of flavors. It was an adventure for the palate. I loved its intriguing delciousness!

QUOTABLE COMMENTS FROM JUDGES

  • Michael's always creates the best truffles..unique, delicious & beautiful! Delysia's chocolates were exceptional! Panache showed a wide variety of flavors and creativity! I liked the Yeti use of Pineapple..very unique.
  • Choceur's white chocolate mini bar is wonderfully creamy and just a lovely texture. The classic white chocolate baar!
  • Love the unique flavor profiles: please do more tropical mango, guava, fruits pear, strawberry, berries, banana, coconut, citrus, grapefruit...
    White chocolates tend toward sweet for the most part. I really enjoyed the entries that transcended sweet with well balanced flavors.
  • "As a basic white chocolate bar, ALDI does not disappoint. Smooth, creamy, buttery and vanilla forward, it's a classic. 
  • Laurie's Chocolates Lemon Raspberry Bark stands out for its refreshing and satisfying lemon and raspberry flavors that tantalize the mouth. 
  • Thank you Pananche Chocolatier for introducing me to the Tupelo Berry. Their namesake truffle emotes the feeling of summer berries and delights the tongue. 
  • Yeti Chocolates Pride Bonbon was amazingly soft, creamy, smooth and delicious. It immediately melts in the mouth while providing a perfectly balance of flavors that bursts forward to entrance your senses; Pina colada swirling on your tongue."
  • So many of these confections are works of culinary art. They are a pleasure to behold before they become a pleasure to taste.

INDIVIDUAL JUDGES' RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CHOCOLATIERS

  • Some of the chocolate had a LOT going on. I wanted them to dial it back a bit. But overall I was impressed with this round of white chocolate. Less sweet than previous ones, which is good. It allows the nuance and flavors to come through more.
  • Robinson Soft Brittle had such a nice flavor and design yet the granular texture detracted. I wondered what caused that because otherwise, it was a fine product.
  • "Please add seeds or nuts pecans! walnuts! pine nuts! macademia!
  • Yummy! chocolates 💙how about a “swirl” design combination of flavors! Love love strawberry! or blueberry! mango! "
  • Robinson Soft Brittle had A great experience going with their Caramel Macchiato. It simulated a cafe drink brilliantly, but was undone by too much sweetness.
  • Despite careful packing and wrapping, items are jostled around during shipment. Please make certain that labels or other identification are firmly affixed—or seal the item and identifier in a small, plastic bag.
