Best Sugar Free Chocolates of the Year Awarded

We are proud to present the results of the 2nd Annual Sugar Free Chocolate AWARDS Competition.

The International Chocolate Salon Awards for the SUGAR FREE AWARDS are based on the combined total number of votes received by each entrant from the Judging Panel.

The Judging Panel consists of National and Regional Magazines, Newspaper and Blog Editors, plus Topic Experts, Local Chefs and Food Gurus.

The award winners below have the honor of being able to display and use the Official Award Winner title and award logos, as well as use items (such as the Award Winner lapel pin), as well as use Custom Award Certificates, and logo award merchandise.

JUDGES' FAVORITES

The Codinha Fruit and Nut bar and the Rayluca Chocolate Glazed Orange were my favorites. In both, the fruit flavors compensated for the lower sweetness.
Love the two Chocopunto dark chocolates by Grupo Cima Dorada (78% and 85%). The cacao flavor notes shine through beautifully. The 78% tastes like a fine red wine.

the Dusso date praline was phenomenal, the rich texture was lovely.

JUDGES' COMMENTS

The Sana Classic White Chocolate bar was very creamy and had layers of coconut and vanilla flavor. Yummy!
The Chocopunto 78% and 85% dark chocolate bars achieve what few chocolate bars have... they taste like a fine red wine. This is a dark, red, rich cacao flavor profile with overtones of red grapes and black currants. No sugar required. Bravo!

A difficult choice for favorite between the Codhinha Fruit and Nut Bar and Rayluca Chocolate Glazed Orange. Both excellent confections, tasting naturally sweet, with great chocolate flavors.
Codinha Chocolate Sugar-Free Fruit and Nut Bar - a gourmet candy bar, loved the quality ingredients, texture and flavor, I cannot detect the erythritol
Dusso Chocolate DUSSO CHOCOLATE Date Pralines - did not realize it was date until I began judging, reminds me of the raw chocolate mousse made with dates I that I love, I cannot detect the erythritol
The Good Chocolate Salted Almond - skimpy on almonds, nice texture on the coconut turmeric
Sana Raspberry white - superb use of powdered raspberries, lovely flavor and texture, the melt point of this brand is enjoyable, very creamy and satisfying
